
Broemmelsiek Park
Broemmelsiek Park, located in Wentzville, Missouri has acres of natural beauty and is equipped with several large lakes for fishing and more than 9 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use. It also features a 4.7-acre off-leash dog area with a large pond for dogs to splash around and play. Named for the family of Jack Broemmelsiek, who lived on the property for more than 30 years and dedicated their lives to promoting conservation activities, Broemmelsiek Park measures 494 acres in size and features many natural and recreational amenities.
Fishing, Educational Sites, Picnic Shelters, Trails & More
The park also includes a Visitor’s Center that is available for parties and other special events, and 4-acre Historic Educational Agricultural Area that features a variety of crops grown in St. Charles County.
This is a multi-use park that is open to mountain bikers, equestrians, and hikers, so please observe proper trail etiquette while enjoying the trails. Services include Composting toilets, water fountains, playgrounds, and pavilions with grills and electric access, and more.
Astronomy Viewing Area
Sitting in a remote setting with limited light pollution, Broemmelsiek Park offers a wonderful opportunity to view the night skies free from obstruction. It is open around the clock and the park’s unique astronomy viewing area has 10+ concrete viewing stations that are equipped with electrical service to accommodate even the latest and greatest telescopes. Off-Leash Dog Park
Our Off-Leash Dog Parks has unique fenced areas that offer an opportunity for your pet to interact with other area dogs. The nearly 5-acre area features a covered shelter, grove of shade trees and a small pond for dogs to splash and play. There is no charge for using the facility. Dut dogs must be licensed and have an updated immunization record.
