It’s no surprise that roses are one of the most evocative symbols for love and appreciation. Everyone loves roses, and I certainly love photographing them. There are so many varieties of roses, each beautiful and unique in the curves and gentle fluidity they show. Early roses bloomed only once a year, so when the Chinese presented repeat bloomers during the late 18th century they quickly became one of the most common beloved flowers, especially in art.
